The President of eSafetyAware Jean Todt and the Secretary General Jacob Bangsgaard presented eSafety actions at the FIA Conference week 11-14 May 2009 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. During his presentation of eSafetyAware activities Mr Todt stressed the important role the automobile clubs play in the national campaign efforts due to their close contact to the end users. He also invited the clubs to participate in the eSafety Challenge event in Rome 8-9 September.
Mr Bangsgaard presented the current and planned activities and in particular the national eSafety exhibition which was launched in the Czech Republic in April 2009 where the European Transport Ministers visited the eSafety exhibition truck. A similar event takes place in Copenhagen 4 June 2009 where the exhibition will be visited by European Automobile clubs representatives, the European Commission, the Danish 8 times Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen and will be opened by the eSafetyAware President Jean Todt.
