In the context of the upcoming annual event, the eSafety Challenge project has launched an eSafety awareness study focusing on fleets. The initiative is lead by consortium partner IMK, who also conducted our previous study on “Car users’ acceptance of eSafety technologies”. The study looks both at company car owners’ awareness of eSafety as well as the company policy of fleet managers when it comes to eSafety. Ten countries are included in the study: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden and UK.
The study results will be revealed on 13 July 2010 at the eSafety Challenge annual event, which this year will focus its attention on fleets and the impact eSafety could have if more fleet managers include this aspect in their fleet policy.
